The big band is a relative newcomer to the Berks County
Pennsylvania music scene. Reorganized in 2003, it is currently under
the musical direction of Charlie Randazzo and business management of
Mickey Roeberg. The band plays a variety of music in the “big band
style”, from Glenn Miller’s “In The Mood” to Van Morrison’s
“Moondance”, intertwined with jazz, latin, swing, and more.Let’s Danceconsists of21 members with the basic 5-4-4-4 instrumentation, vocalists, and sound / equipment manger.The band has played for a variety of venues including the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum’s World War II Weekend, Berks County Jazz Fest, weddings, dances, civic events, county summer concert series, and private affairs. The band consists of local musicians that are diverse in age and enjoy playing big band music as an avocation.
